Clear pale ruby. Clean medium + intense youthfull nose of cherries, raspberries and some flint inthe background. Dry, medium+ acidic medium- alcohol medium body medium+ flavour intense long finish. Excellent subtile fine wine. medium priced. has ageing potential.

Ruby color in the glass. Aromas lead with smoke and baking spice, with notes of cherry, raspberry, and mushroom. On the palate, delightful flavors of plum, red cherry, earthy notes, minerals, and tobacco smoke. Medium body, soft tannins, and perfectly balanced acidity. A spectacular Spätburgunder.

Med ruby colour. Smoky nose, some reduction, very inviting. This is great stuff, vineyard right next to Fürst. And for a fraction of the price. Layered, complex. Still so youthful. A different wone after decanting. Clean, precise, and well made with great intensity and fruit concentration. Tar, oak, strawberry, raspberry. Some cherry. Technically, it's just very well made. Persistent with a very log finish

Frisch und kühl. Eher distanziert als elegant. Geruchlich Eisen, Blut, Feuerstein und etwas rote Beeren. Laut Hendrik Thoma besonders und spicy-frische Kombi durch Pinot auf Buntsandstein.

Tolles Teil: Blutorange, Rhabarber, Erdbeere und Waldboden in der Nase. Am Gaumen kommen dann Kräuter dazu. Kräftig, aber auch unheimlich frisch, süffig und spannend. Und schwupps ist die Flasche leer. Klasse!

Ich komm auf den Stil nicht klar - keine Frage, das ist geil; aber das ist nicht Burgund, das ist nicht Ahr, das ist nicht Baden.. das ist… wohl Franken. Ich bin echt ein Franken Noob, aber das ist so geil auf Gutswein Level. Total transparent, reduktive Nase, Schlehen, Feuerstein, Kirsche; Ultra gut. Dann extrem elegant, feine Säure, verhalten im Glas aber aromenreich, fast ein roter Weißwein; wieder Schlehe; mineralisch, Kirsche, Cassis, ultra fein. Mega. 91P

Markant lugt. Dufter lidt af tysk rasteplads - benzin og ristet løg. Men det smager meget godt.

Deutsche Stilistik. Sehr saftige rote Frucht. Rote Johannisbeere und wilde Erdbeeren. Schöne Säure. Hält den Wein lebendig. Rustikal. Bisschen Speck.

Mal was ganz anderes! Leicht, eher weich, Champignon, nasser Waldboden, rauchig, Umami, wenig Frucht, irgendwie dicht kompakt. Etwas Pflaume und Cranberry. Schöner Grip im Abgang, Kräuter.

Vielschichtiger und sehr spannender Spätburgunder-Gutswein. Einerseits viel kühle und saftige Frucht mit Kirschen und roten und schwarzen Johannisbeeren, andererseits würzig, Tabak, leicht rauchig und erdig, leicht, frisch, trocken, elegant, eher kurz.

Excellent Gutswein, definitely punching above its weight. Beautiful maturity as well and developing great over 3/4 days. A bit more charming and approachable at this point. At the beginning quite reductive, smoky with cooler currant aromatics. Great acidity, gentle tannins, very elegant, lean, very cool climate.

2017 For me, German Spätburgunder can be a bit hit and miss but this is a very nice Pinot. Pale in the glass. Light. Good balance of fruit and acidity. Lovely.

Informal mixed bag wine tasting event in Oslo. Not enough time for detailed tasting notes. Quite good Spätburgunder from Weingut Steintal. Juicy, lush and fruit driven. Ripe red fruit of raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry and red plum. Light earthy notes. Integrated barrel, soft toast. Good concentration, medium+ acidity and intensity. Ripe tannins, light grip. Worth your penny.

Pale ruby. Quite a bit reduction first. Raspberry, flowery, oak, medicine, licorice, cassis bonbons. Medium+ acidity, medium tannins, dry, medium- body. Ok long and complexity.

This is a basic Spätburgunder from a very reliable source in Klingenberg am Main. Tones of cherry and chalky minerals and autumn Forrest. A little low in acidity but good length. Price worthy. 15,5 points

Gutswein, aber anspruchsvoll. Immer noch schöne rote Frucht, aber gleichzeitig mineralisch, würzig, kräuterig. Nicht unbedingt easy drinking.

Ein wunderbar solider Spätburgunder Gutswein. Süffig, saftig, einen Tick zu viel Säure, dennoch trinkig mit gutem Ausdruck und feiner Balance.

Drinking nicely at 6yo with forest berries, mint and earthy elements. Good acidity still. 7.6/10 on short notes

A very good spätburgunder with notes of red fruit and earthy notes - just a nice and refreshing glass of 🍷

Wunderschönes Rubinrot. Reduktiver, vegetabiler Stinker nach Kohl und ausgelatschten Lederschuhen. Brombeere und Herzkirsche lassen sich erahnen. Kirschlolli. Unangenehm Bitter am Ende, als würde man auf Brombeerkernen rumkauen. Hinterlässt ein ätherisch-kühles Mundgefühl. Quo vadis? Dreht an Tag drei unfassbar auf. Pyrazingeprägt mit Cassis und einem Hauch roter Stachelbeere. Schwarzfruchtig. Brombeere. Die Bitterkeit ist gegangen. Wilder Gutswein.

88P, helles Bdxrot, feines Holz, Johannisbeeren (?, das wirkt etwas untypisch, obwohl die Gesamterscheinung typisch ist), Kräuter, etwas Moos, erdig, gut abgestimmte Säure, auch im Mund schiebt die Johannisbeere, m Körper, m+ Länge

Solid Spätburgunder, interesting notes, great wine, but very strange smell... Makes it perhaps even more interesting.

Basiswijn die een groot domein doet vermoeden. Kruidig, mineralig en fruitig. 10jr gerijpt en nog steeds jeugdig van kleur, met mooie materie en fijne balans

Overall earthier but still on the lighter side. Strong smell of rotten eggs (sulphur) on the nose so it was hard to pick up much else but it didn’t carry through to the palate.

The nose is quite fruity with apples, cherries and black currant leaves. Flavour is rich in acidity like most German pinots, predominantly red currants but a fair bit of black currants can be found. Slight touch of liquorice and rosenkvitten

Transparent ruby red in colour. Earthy nose of cherry, plums, blackcurrant, herbs, smoke, pepper and oak. Dry and medium acidic Spätburgunder from Franken/Klingenberg. Juicy and fruity, ok balance. Mineral finish.

Zu Beginn starker Stinker der sich schnell verflüchtigt. Dann haben wir einen ausgewogenen Ortswein. Alles ist an seinem Fleck. Für einen Ortswein ist das schon verdammt lecker!

Licht robijnrood. Heel helder. Fris rood primair fruit. Rode besjes, aardbei, kersen, framboosjes. Speels en lichtvoetig. Lekker op een warme zomermiddag

T&T wine HoReCa tasting, no time for detailed notes. Quite green, lots of herbal notes. Tannins are still ripe, fortunately. Good quality.

Typisch, nicht 100% präzise. In der Nase Leder, Erdbeere und Kirsche. Am Gaumen würzig, rotfruchtig, kräftig.

In the nose some burnt rubber. On the palate there are the same burnt rubber, cherries and minerals. High tannins that softens after a while. An agreable aftertaste.

Barnyard, black olives, dried herbs, slight medicinal notes, mushrooms, bit of sulfur.

Dal colore rosso granato in bocca presenta sentori di lampone e ciliegia. In bocca purtroppo dopo una beva promettente risulta molto.corto e poco persistente. Peccato

Rich, clean, mild stone fruit.

Holy crap on a stick this smells weird and off-putting. Two laps through our decanter and whirled through the glass for minutes but current verdict is it has a fault. Will give it a second try tomorrow, you never know but average rating for now. Others describe light red fruit et cetera, this is like a sweaty chemical brett overkill. I don't mind a bit of Brett but this is nasty.

Ggf. erste leichte bräunliche Nuancen erkennbar. Der Geruch erinnert mich sofort an Cassis. Getrocknete Beeren. Kirschnote ist nicht so prägnant bemerkbar. Herbst Noten kommen noch mit. Würze. Am Gaumen, elegant, schlank und kühl. Trinkt sich gefühlt federleicht. Die Automatik ist aber deutlich verhaltener und nicht so vielschichtig. Frische Säure (mittel). Nachhall mittel (-). Macht Lust auf einen zweiten Schluck. Sehr solide.

Blindsmaking med @[1|28606465|Helle Nærø] 🤓 Ser ut som lys rød husholdningssaft. Lukter ekstremt petroleum! Diesel! Svovel, gammelt bilverksted. Lite tydelig frukt eller annen aroma, det er totalt dominert av petro. Spennende, har aldri vært borti noe liknende! I munnen smaker den mye petro, kanskje litt hint av kirsebær og etterhvert sølvløk. Svake tanniner, medium syre. Men hva drikker vi? En naturvin på barbera? Neida, det er en pinot noir fra Klingenberg i Franken, kjent for å ha en helt

German Pinot noir. German structure. Nice taste. It’s soft and lovely. C ok ups be the perfect temp or served cold. It’s very smooth. Didn’t get loads of flavor from it.

Very pungent manure on the nose. Light, fruity and rather acidic. Red berries and earthy notes on the palate.

In der Nase intensive Gummi Note. Wohl Fehlerhaft. Selbst für einen Spätburgunder sehr schlank. Säure betont, verhaltene Frucht, kurz im Abgang.
