Zuazo Gaston Reserva

This is a surprise Rioja. Dark burgundy color with wood on the nose. Strong initial taste that softens after it breathes. Tannins and acids are well balanced. Long aftertaste. Not an example of an outstanding Rioja. 3.8? Maybe. This ir another bottle of the same wine: really good. Chocolate and wood on the nose. Full bodied, strong character. I enjoyed it more than the previous one. It’s a 4.0.
