Im Glas edles goldgelb. In der Nase überwältigendes Bukett von kandierten Früchten, gedörrten Aprikosen und Ananas, Karamell. Am Gaumen saftig und süsslich mit dezenter Restsäure. Im Maison Wenger in le Noirmont zum Dessert genossen. Ausserordentlicher Genuss. Grosses Trinkvergnügen.

Trimbach Alsace Pinot Gris 2005 (TY,CRALP,AUG22). Amber color. Elegant bouquet of citrus fruit, gold apple, sweet nectarine, stewed peach and honey deftly intertwined with mineral scents. The entry is fresh and balanced, with appealing pear and honey flavors and nice acidity. Great effort!

Golden yellow in color, in the nose honey, passion fruit and a touch of unripe banana. On the palate likewise with a touch of lime

Apricot, honey, peach on the nose to start with. A slightly viscous, golden colour in the glass. Touch of toffee, honey and caramel in the glass. An elegant wine.

Medium amber appearance. Pronounced nose & palate - honey, orange marmalade, ripe peach, lychee, dried apricot. Overall balanced - medium sweetness, medium- acidity, medium alcohol, full body and long finish.

4.6 Exceptional quality sweet Pinot Gris from Alsace! Pale amber in color. On the nose aromas of dried apricot, jam, almonds, buckwheat honey, dried banana, yeast, flowers. High acidity, medium plus body and alcohol. Still developing, 20 years on!! Drink this beauty now or keep for another 10 years. Pair with dessert, of course, or consume as a digestive. I suggest pairing this with ice cream 👌😊

Wonderfully complex. Dominates in sweetness, acidity it dropping off majorly. Huge honey like body. Chewy mouthfeel. Deeply caramelised plum, prune, raisin with a sherry esque undertone. All pulled together by a floral/pollen/honey like characteristic. Pleasant, but I'd like to see where it goes in a another few years.

Last wine in this great tasting. Sirupy, mushroomy, petrol, weird and complex nose! Digging it. On the palate thick, sirupy wonderful, honeyed, dried fruit, spicy sweet, mushrooms, savoury, long, intense, balanced. Wonderful! A great end of the tasting.

4.6 93p. I tasted two different bottles of this wine on two consecutive days: 1: 4.5 92p. Burnt figs, a note of smoke, honey, yellow raisins, and butrytis. A tiny oxidated note is traced in the background. Good acidity, long aftertaste. Delicious glass. 10+-11- 2: 4.7 94p. Amber. Slightly funky nose with a note of wet cellar that fortunately evaporates after a while in the glass. Dried apricot, smoke (or wood?) and violets. 11(+) As seen, two quite different experiences! 11

Isso sinceramente é um néctar dos deuses que nos lembra como é bom beber a história. A cor se torna dourada, sente-se os sabores maduros do mel, ameixa, corpo intenso e nada fora do lugar. Como diria o poeta, isso aí é melhor do que muita gente.

RWC. Прекрасный десерт! Янтарный цвет. Сахар 111г/л. В аромате: курага, спелый инжир, грецкий орех, каштан. Вкус медовый с непривычно отсутствующей горчинкой от Ботритиса. В свои 17 лет вино находится в прекрасной форме, никакой излишней оксидации, никакой редукции. 4,3* за отличный баланс и уважение к марке рожденной в 1626 году.

Bought recently from the domaine itself. This wine is indulgent. Nose is caramel apple, honey, dried fruit, developing tertiary flavors now, it's very intense. The wine is intense immediately on the first sip, very sweet but backed up with a high acidity. The wine last seemingly forever after it's gone. A very good example of what this type of wine should be. I think this should be drank now but for those that like older wines, this can keep for quite a while longer.

4.1 Closer to a Sauternes than to any other white Ive been having. Scent reminded me of honey, coriander and nutmeg. Earthy. Otherwise it’s virtually sweet wine with no acidity, a bit of a finish with notes of pineapple, dried fruit and candy. Tried this with white sauce pasta which helps with the sweetness.
