Concentración con elegancia, aun joven.

Beautiful structure, tannins and malolactic fermentation so precisely crafted you can taste the yougurt notes. Really a lovely wine!

Rich and full bodied, but with velvety tannins and stunning purple and black fruit the finish is extremely long and satisfying.

An impressive Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa (owned by the Pinault family). Super powerful yet very mellow and velvety. Great freshness. Impressive 4.75/5

Most Bordeaux-like in the entire line up. This wine is all about elegance and grace. Ch Margaux would’ve been my guess if served blind. Some signs of maturity visually and in the palate. Aromas of cassis, herbs, cigar box & pencil shavings which followed through to the mouth. Nice, smooth and silky entry. The tannins were resolved and really caressed the mid-palate. Finish not as long as I’d like but that’s just me nit-picking. Perfect now.

Deep voluptuous vanilla spiced nose. Soft, creamy, thick layered palate. Firm tannins. Decanted for 4 hours. Really good!

Impeccable! Absolutely delicious! Creme de cassis, graphite, smoke, hint of fennel and eucalyptus. Rich and mouthfilling. Seamless integration.

Great cabernet, straight out of the bottle. Better after a 30+ min decant. Not sure it's worth $300, but still a great cabernet.

An absolute joy of a wine. Screams California, but with a class few wines can match. World class, one of the best I've ever had.

What can I say? Perfect! The nose has a beautiful balance of oak and fruits. The finish is silky smooth, with a right touch of tannins.

As close to perfect as any bottle of wine I’ve ever had. My favorite in a lineup that included Bond, Promontory, Levy & McClelland, Checkerboard, and Hundred Acre.

This bottle was apart of a blind tasting offered by the lion himself 🦁 Celebrating the birth of his once young cub. From the first sip, I knew this bottle was special. An outstanding Napa Valley Cab. Well done Eisele Vineyard. 🤌 Until we meet again -Ronaldo

1998… what a party. This bottle has plenty of oomph going. Just give it a bit of aeration first. Taylor and I were a bit worried at first sip, but this sprang into life quickly and climbed up the points ladder quickly! Showing ageing gracefully. Smooth! 1998 everything integrated nicely. Pencil shaving. Crushed rocks. Fruit a little tertiary, but it’s expected and it’s graceful. Yummy!

Very elegant Californian wine from domaines Artemis, this is very close to a Bordeaux style vs Californian. It’s has an elegant structure, it takes time to open but has some fantastic notes of oak, vanilla, hints of chocolate. Some baking spices as well. Overall a great wine to pair with a rib eye or châteaubriant.

A bit musty on the nose, dried fruit on the finish with some spice notes. Very rich with a hint of vanilla on the finish.

Rich, yet suave. A bit less upfront fruit than usual for this wine. More earthy, with soil, black currant, rose petal, and black tea notes. The blackberry and cocoa qualities take over, with a velvety feel on the palate. Fine tannins around the loamy, black fruit core. Long and supple. I suspect I will like this better in ten years. Always so good, though.

Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon U.V.. My favorite wine from California. Wine Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon U.V. (First tasted on 11/5/09) This is my favorite of the two Wines Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons, and one of my favorite wines from California. Blackcurrant, black tea, and licorice notes are present, but the tannins are more supple than usual. The fruit is on the darker side of medium, and the tannins are still present.

Year 1997. Tannins aren’t dominant anymore and it is a real treat to drink. Fruit is still present - blackberry and leather stood out to me. Bouquet is really nice but I couldn’t pick out what it smelled like - other than “nice!” This was a treat.

Strong plum and blueberry and violet on the nose. The finish is lasting with excellent tannins. Dark fruit, oak and some cherry on the palate. Will age beautifully. Quite different from the 2018 which I’m even more excited for.

Wow! That’s a Napa Cab to remember. Big red and plum fruit. Medium body, supple tannins, great with or without food. Hey, it’s Araujo. Nuff said!

Complex, superb concentration and unique tannin structure compared to the rest of the whole Napa Cab line at the tasting. Although it has a huge pricetag 😏 Chocolate, blackberry, ripe black currant, mocha, toffee and tobacco. Lingering infinitely.

Amazing to try this old vintage. Perfect drinking condition! Ultra smooth fine tannins, loads of prune, leather chocolate and spice. Delicious!
