2008 is amazing! Unbelievably sweet and easy. Full flavor will make you do a double take! Looking for this wine as we speak to stock up!

Delicious, Smooth, with a hint of Sweetness. I wanted a red wine that was sweet but not too sweet and WOW, this was perfect. My favorite!

Like a west coast port

Fabulous dessert wine.. tried at a tasting paired with a shropshire blue from the UK.

Absolutely delicious. On par with some of the better ports for me.

Genialer roter Süßwein, perfekt balanciert zwischen Süße und Säure. Macht Lust auf ein zweites Glas! In der Nase vollreife Kirschen und Erdbeeren, ggf etwas Cassis. Perfekt zum Kirsch-Crumble Desert.

Great rich red fruit and tannin backbone

Super nez sur une marmelade de fruit rouge, confiture de fruit rouge. Bouche sucrée mais avec un super équilibré, aucune lourdeur. Une bombe de fruit qui appelle a se re servir.

Sessionable beyond belief. A Zinfandel for the ages. Cry me a jammy, full-bodied river.

Deep garnet with slight rim variation. Aromas of cherry pie, lavender, black pepper, dried cranberries, cacao nibs (cocoa), and hints of baking spices. Flavours of red fruit, pomegranate, black currant, cassis, dark chocolate and vanilla. Great dessert wine!

Smells of Saskatoon berries, graham crackers, and a hint of smokiness. Taste is sweet and smooth. Delicious.

Dessert wine at the end of our May 28, 2021 Zinfandel dinner at stage left. I am not generally a dessert wine person but this one was pretty good. Had it at the same time as the chocolate molten lava cake. Great cap to an excellent dinner and night out.

An interesting wine. Almost a port but not quite. Lovely concentrated fruit snd sweetness. Great for dessert.

Dark Rich flavors. A good semi full bodied Zin! Dry and smooth. We are at the Princeville Hotel so this is great but overpriced at $57

A fantastic dessert wine. Has the great flavors of classic zin, aping with a rich sweetness, balanced by a nice acidity and higher alcohol bite.

Very nice late harvest Zin, it comes close to a 1975 Ridge that I first had years ago when first introduced to late harvest wines.

Rich, velvety, extracted. Cassis, blackberry pie. Good acid. Balanced sweetness. Great on its own, but sweet enough to pair with dessert.

Sweet luxurious wine. Goes very well with chocolate; almost must be paired with something equally as sweet to be truly appreciated.

Full bodied with bold cherry and chocolate notes. Dryer finish for a Zinfandel. Great with grilled meat. Highly recommended.

Dry bramble rhubarb. Black pepper and juicy. Fantastic quality.

Dessert wine, which I somehow missed. Sweet raspberry and plum nose. Chocolate evolving into tart fruit in the mouth. Finishes with juicy sweet and sour prune/raisin. Not syrupy or overly thick. Would be great with chocolate mouse or cake with raspberry coulis.

Last wine of the tasting. A wonderful night. A great dessert wine. Thick and rich. Candied sweet blackberry and cherry, light cedar and very light spice notes on the palate. Full body, good acidity and great balance. Fresh and not cloying. Pair with chocolate or great alone after dinner. Good QPR at $23.

Juicy and lush the way you would expect a zin to be. Dark cherry and other lush berries come through on the palate, with a hint of dark chocolate undertones (but not overtly sweet, which is good). Decent, especially considering this bottle was complimentary in my husband's room at an overnight work function at Cavallo Point. (Can't complain about free, and especially not free wine!)

I'm not usually a fan of sweet wines but this one grabbed me. Just a little spice made it nicely drinkable for something a little different. I can see this added to a chocolate sauce and drizzled over a brownie with ice cream!

Very fruit forward but with a spicy finish

Sweet but it has more complexity of flavor with it being a red desert wine. Well suited to serve with chocolate and berries. I am not a huge fan of desert wines but I would recommend this one if somebody wanted to try a red desert wine.

Very nice nose, jammy with dark fruit and fresh grape skin on the palate.then soft sweetness ,leading to a harsh finish with to much tannins for a desert wine.

Raspberry juice...

Decent dessert wine, but not my favorite. This one was almost like a tawny port. Lots of raisin, red fruit and a hint of herbal. Weird wine that would go well with some desserts but I wouldn’t like to drink by itself.

Overly sweet even for a dessert wine. Tasting of raspberries, candied cherry and pomagranit with a bit of chocolate and vanilla.

Medium ruby with very sweet berry aroma. Very, very sweet port wine. Medium body with medium alcohol. Too sweet for me but better when drink with a very sweet dessert.
