Goddamn it was good. The fruity pop was good, had that taste man. It just has the taste. Dry as fuck. Had it sober with cheese and honestly I got buzzed.

Lovely and excellent value. Great concentration of dried cherry, plum, paprika, aged granite, oak, tobacco hay with musty and meaty mushroom. Colour is dense and inky and while the nose is muted the palate has an excellent stone minerality and rhubarb and fennel seed finish. 75min of decanting brought it to glory. 4.4/5

It’s always nice to have a Brunello di Montalcino....it’s definitely one my favorite italian’s. This one is quite good, cherry, oak and “drops of vanilla “ smell, very well balanced, great taste and highly recommended (bought (Israeli wine shop) on sale for 25 euros (!!) VFM.

Young Brunello di Montalcino for Friday night. The wine is clear, translucent, dark ruby with a shine and wide brick red meniscus. High viscosity at 14.5% vol. Aroma of blackberries, plum, violet, oak, chocolate, vanilla and black pepper. Dry taste of dark berries, sour cherry, a bit of woody bitterness, slowly integrating tannins and persistent finish. 2010 has been a phenomenal year for Brunellos and the Il Valentiano Campo di Marzo did not disappoint. Smooth on the palate rich in berries and minerals with soft tannins after a decanting period this wine has a long finish that keeps one wanting more.

Crazy nose. All over the place. Goes from ripe cherry, to green herbs, to baby diaper, to dull mineral and stone. Heavy alcohol burn that leveled off after decanting. Ripe and very young, this wine has a long way to go. But primary flavors of red berries are ripe and the high acidity takes it to another level. Heavy spice and alcohol brings it down to earth. Tannins attack the finish with pepper and earth. Soothed and coddled by creamy vanilla and toasted oak. Incredible wine to say the least.

A producer not often seen in this part. My previous one was 7 years back. The 2018 is young, fresh with cherry and leather. Velvety tannins and medium high acidity. Any day, every day, is a Happy Day with a Brunello ©️ 😊

ブルネッロ・ディ・モンタルチーノ初体験(多分)。 開けてすぐ美味いのがイタリアワインのなせる業。DOCG(DOC)は本当に、AOCを遥かに上回る信頼度。笑 色はすこし褪せた綺麗なルビー。 香りは爽やかな赤いベリーのエレガントさに、バラやすみれのフローラル感。嗅いでいて心地よいという表現がピッタリ。 味わいも、香りに違わず、上品さを担保。 しっかりしているが、全く嫌じゃない心地よい酸味。同じくタンニンも力強さがあるが、非常に滑らか。それでいて、酸やタンニンの度合いから考えると、驚くほど軽やか。 にもかかわらず、明瞭な存在感があり、アフターが長いし、しっかりしてるし、フレーバーという単語を思い出させてくれる1本。 お見事。ただ美味い。

Mr Brunello enjoys a stellar vintage Brunello in Vilnius. Enjoyed with lovely beef and mashed carrots at Dine super restaurant Vilnius. New producer experience- very satisfied. Linear and firm, superb acidity. Crushed violet. Full bodied with sleak tannins. Exotic black spices with very light hints of tobacco. Earthy and black fruit.

What you’d expect from a Brunello. Earthy. Minerals. Dry to the palate. But so beautifully balanced.

Cherry crimson. Notes of dark cherry and sweet stewed berries. Fruity cherry, beetroot , with coffee, light leather. Tight tannins, nice acidity, airiness in the finish. Nice and well priced.

Keep improving Aromas: cherry, oak, leather, geranium, coffee, raspberry, blueberry. Palate: cherry, pepper, mushrooms, raspberry, red fruit. Structure: medium plus body, medium plus acidity, medium tannins with medium after taste.

Located in Tavernelle, this winery has a long history. Fragrant & elegant, but holds a good structure, delivering lilac, raspberry, red cherry & forest berries, mingling with basil, oregano, licorice, hints of balsamic and an earthy undertone. Good acidity balanced with crunchy red fruits, tannins are rather polished for the young vintage, lingering with a herbaceous finish. Nice lighter Brunello with good potential to develop more layers in the future.

It's my second bottle from this vintage, much better than a year ago, developing very interesting complexity, making me excited about the rest of the cask. Full-bodied silky Brunello, medium + acidity medium ++ tannins and medium ++ alcohol. On the aromas side, there are notes of leather, cherry, oak and more earthy aromas. On the palate notes of plum, cherry, oak, leather, tobacco and tomato. We enjoyed it a lot, very good wine.

Belo brunello. 4,1 nesse fratello que não tem grande complexidade mas pelo preço ele atende o esperado. Corpo médio, final médio, Safra 2015 já agradável pra consumo, com tanino macios e trazendo fruta negra fresca com alguma rusticidade. Olfato relativamente tímido mas cativante com toque herbáceo e aquele cheiro de Itália que a Sangiovese traz. Saúde

Great brunello for value. Spot on if you like a toned down amarone, with the cherrysauce spicy peber tones and sweet aftertaste.

Very nice Sangiovese Grosso, a medium garnet color, Aromas of processed red fruit, cherry, fried cherry, plum confiture, dried fruit, spices, humidor, cedar, caramel.

This elegant style of Brunello looks and feels much lighter than usual. Very floral and complex, with red and black ripe fruit flavours. Oak is evident in spice aromas of cloves and the tannins, acidity and alcohol are high. Lovely!

this brunello is probably the best VFM ever. ist not a killer brunello more light body and flowery but still very very good. ruby to garnet colored, the nose is amazing ,very pronounced and rich with strawberry lavender plums resins and apricot. tje mouth is dry medium tannins medium to high acidity med body , red friuts little oak leather, medim aftertaste . hopefully it will improve as he is very young .

First time I have this brunello and quite impressed considering vintage and price-point. Love the balsamic notes, leather and dried cherries. Very good acidity, smooth tannins and elegance!! Paired with arrabiatta homemade pasta on a lazy and snowy saturday. Cheers to Italy!!

Medium garnet colour. A lot of preserved and dried fruits: cherry, plum, black cherry. As well spices, cedar wood and caramel. Mouth still fruity with high acidity and smooth but still intensive tannins.

4.0 quite nice brunello. A lot of herbs and mashrooms. Earthy notes. Also a lot of fruits. Cherry and blackcherries. Oak and vanilla too. After ten years is pretty nice, after 15 probbably even better.

ブルゴーニュっぽさがあるけど2回目飲んだ時微妙だった

タルの香りが気になる、古い木の印象、色濃い、最近のブルネロって濃いのが多い印象、温暖化？セニエしすぎ？

香りは深い。やや苦味、酸味。 やや広がる前だけど、パワフルさを垣間見た。 とても美味しいワインでした。 イタリア料理と頂きました。

Cassis, oak, acid, dry. 酸味強い。開栓後、時間が経ったら落ち着いてきた。

Very heavy mineral flavor, and dry. Perhaps just not a style I enjoy.
