Golden yellow with flora salty aroma. Light sweetmouthfeel with medium acid alightorange and apple flavour medium to long finish.
Yellow raisin, honey, brioche, mushroom, hazelnut, vanilla, apple almond. Medium acidity, rich, balanced sweetness, complex, elegant, Pale Cream Sherry.
Total classic. Aroma is very nutty and caramel - cashews, almonds and hazelnut all detected. The palate is dominated by yeastiness. Brioche, honey, a hint of leather, and some cottage cheese. Lovely drink.
Tasting at Bodegas Tio Pepe. 17.5% alcohol. Gold in the glass. Nose is sharp and dry, with a petrol note, green nuts and mint. Palate is delightfully acidic and semi-sweet, with pineapple, caramelized apple, brioche and almond. The finish is creamy, full of apricot. What a treat.
Recuersos a nuez, pasas.
Clear yellow color a little bit smoky.
Sweet and smooth, easier to drink than other sherry wines.
The smoothest sweet sherry I have tasted. Not sweet at all just rich and luscious
Notas almendradas y avellanadas. Buen trabajo de alquimia y tirado de precio.
My go to pre Sunday roast sherry. Apple and lime, quite dry which I love. Most sherrys are a bit too sweet but not Croft, it kisses your tongue with flavour, body and richness and dances past your tonsils with acid and lime. Time for another glass

When you fancy a sweet sherry, this'll do nicely. Good aperitif. Tastes nutty & of brioche, long sweet finish & warming too. Brioche aromas. Nice drink, serve chilled.
Baked pear, dried apricots, dried pears, raisins. Despite sweetness body is rather light. No minerality, but due its easy going body it is a pleasant sip. Long sweet aftertaste. Good match for sweet deserts.
* clean, pale gold colour * clean nose, med intensity * honey, raisin, walnut, orange peel, dried apricot, camomile, sweeter nose * medium sweet * med alcohol * med acidity * med+ body * med flavour intensity * med finish * same notes on palate * good wine, can keep, but wont develop
Croft Original Sherry—sweet, smooth, and charming in that slightly old-school way 🥂😉. Tastes like something your gran would pour, but you’d happily finish. Comforting, cheeky, and dangerously sippable.🎉
Min favoritsherry! Gott 🥂
almond vanilla honey nutty brioche green apple apricot
Color amarillo clarito.
Lekker zoetig
Carboná: twist con hierbabuena y soda. Riquísimo
Well I didn't see this coming out of an old mainstream brand like this, but hey... Guess you should never turn your nose up at anything until you have tried it. Nose of Honey Almonds Vanilla Brioche Flavours of Almonds Nutty in general Vanilla Brioche Honey Citric end Medium acidity Sweet Warming
Sherry to finish off the night, haven’t tried much so can’t really compare but thought it was decent — eman
Very surprisingly good and smooth with no rough edges that is white port like. Soft almond that is probably 15+ years old.
Regular desert wine , nice to finish a beautiful meal in Madrid
Pear,.. too switch for us. :-(
86P, helles Gold, verhaltene Nase, Haarspray, etwas mostig, oxidativ, Aprikosenmarmelade, Gummibärchen, Apfel, Birne, Touch von Marzipan, weiche süßliche Textur, fette Rosinen, fast schon druckvoll aber dabei auch belanglos
Sweet Sherry. Nose with olives, bread, brioche and some citrics. Full bodied, medium acidity. Mouth: brioche, olives and citrics here too.
Good wine. 👁 pale yellow color. 👃 green apple, citrus, almond and honey. 👅 sweet but not too much, medium body, medium accidity, medium-long aftertaste.
Smells like green wall nuts. We had it as a desert wine. This was an incredible match for our wallnut based cake. I wanted to buy a second bottle but shot run out of it.
Guided visit to Tio Pepe winery and tasting. May 18th. Immersion in Jerez and its production, #2 of #4. Interesting, slightly sweet, creamy, nuts and dried fruits popped.
Old bottle, 35+ years. Medium golden color. Fully developed. Medium intensity. Oxidated apple, bitter citrus, candid yellow fruits, nutty, toffee, wax. Sweet. Low acidity. Medium body, 18ABV. Medium finish. Balanced sweetness and alcohol.
@3️⃣days to go ! Wset level4 D5 last practice📝 This wine is pale lemon color and has medium or+ intensity of nose with peach, apricot, golden apple, lemon card, pineapple, marmalade, honey, bread dough, vanilla, almond, nuts, slight acetaldehyde. This wine is sweet (110g/L), medium body, medium fortified alcohol (17.5%), medium acidity, medium intensity of flavours, medium finish.
Aromas of citrus, green apple, honey, almond and fresh florals on the nose. Medium sweet with medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium bodied with a pronounced intensity of honeyed citrus and orchard fruits with a hint of nuttiness. Finish is medium (+) in length.
Served as croft pale cream. Pours pale indeed, a fino looking sherry. Scent is almost like a Normandy cider, apple and a touch sugary. Simple but enjoyable. Taste is full, full on sweet as well. Less apples here, but still some Mild woody notes. Touch oxidative, touch breadyness from the flor. Sugary wine , seemingly grape sugars rather than actual sugar. Ends very quickly, light ,boring, mineral and ... A bit off to me.
Golden yellow color. Medium intense nose of flor, yeast, caramel, cheese, salt, raisins, vanilla, honey. Sweet, medium+ body, medium acidity, high alcohol, short finish. On palate, flor, salt, iodine, yeast, vanilla, honey, green apples, lemon. Good quality Spanish style sherry, not for ageing, alcohol balanced, not best structured and complexity.
Pale lemon M- intensity(酒花不厚,熟化时间不长) Apple, lemon, yeast savory, sea water, oyster shell, almonds, vinegar, dough Sweet, low acidity, m alcohol(加糖RCGM的同时会加酒精来平衡,所以从low 成为medium) M+ body Finish is short Acceptable According to Color, aroma/flavor, structure, body, quality , it’s pale cream
Even I do not like this style of Sherry (waste of fino anyway), I must admit that this is a good wine in this category: quite intense and complex. The sweetening agent is a little bit not balanced with medium- acidity and the finish quite quick becomes sucrose and flat. But it has a initial freshness, citrus aromatic attack and could be useful to some lemon cake or panatone. Better than expected, but still the style hard to justify and understand. Why should someone drink it deliberately?
3.7⭐️ Introduced to me by my friend @[1|2927575|Mike Daly] who as a kid was force fed Sherry by his parents every Sunday, so as such is one of the countries leading experts in the tipple. Very much enjoyed! Nutty, Almond, cream, vanilla and some citrus notes. Nice and sweet. Perfect tipple for a golfing hip flask 👌 🏌️♂️
Low acidity only just manages to keep control of the sweetness. Light biological notes (bruised apple). Too sweet for me
Cor amarelo dourado. Notas de frutas secas, principalmente, de damasco. Vinho meio doce, fortificado e levemente untuoso. Degustação na Bodega Gonzalez-Byass.
Good it got the biscuity tones of the flor but some extra dose of sweetness
Tasting at Gonzalez-Byass! Lemon color. Green olives, nut and saltiness. Off-dry, full bodied.
cream vanilla yeast
This sherry is medium sweet, not that memorable.
Better than it’s reputation
Algo interessante.
Compra a versatilidade do Jerez. 88 po
A mí me gusta de postre, muy frío e incluso "on the rocks".
Bevuto in una cena con amici (Novembre 2020). Si presenta di un colore giallo dorato. Al naso emergono sentori affumicati e frutta secca (dattero e uvetta). Al palato é strutturato, alcolico, rotondo+, abboccato, fresco++ e sapido. Complessivamente é equilibrato e persistente+. (Alcol 17,5%) 3.7
Fresco, sapido, abboccato con note di popcorn
Bisquity instead of bready. Very sweet
Simpático y peligroso, justamente por lo simpático. Muy buena relación precio calidad.
Tomado en la propia bodega. Tercero de la cata. Nariz: dulce, crema, miel, brioche Boca: estructurado, largo, dulce, postgusto largo, notas de caramelo, miel, cítrico
Light easy to drink sherry with pleasant almond and marzipan notes.
An extra treat from the WSET D5 weekend of fortified wines. Medium yellow. Pronounced aromas. Pretty gross. Tequila, yellow plum on the nose, palate is better, sweet with tropical fruit and yeasty character. Not for me though!
Pale cream is definitely not for me, I need to train my palate to appreciate it's nuances, still this one feels kind of forced and too sweet.
🅿️ale Cream 🅿️alomino No detailed note. Nice nutty flavor with tangy acidity but sweetness is not well integrated in the finish.
One of my first sherries but I doubt it will be my last. cream and apple notes break through what is a fairly rich drink. Don't put in tea with milk. It doesn't look appealing 😂
Very pleasant smell. Reminds me of nut selection. Actually smelling it makes me extremely hungry 😂😂. Surprisingly this one is very sweet. Would not have guessed based on the smell. Wow, like quite syrupy. I would say I love the smell, but it is tad too sweet for me. Having said that, I don't find it bad or like most sherry's. It actually tastes more like sugary grape juice which I find drinkable (but only in small quantities, otherwise auger overload for me).
Diploma wine 19. Tasted blind. An exercise in understanding the difference between pale cream sherry & white port. Pale lemon. Saline, light intensity, green olive, almond, yeast, confected boiled sweets & biscuits. Fully developed. Med. sweet, nutty, again olive/saline, low acidity, light body, med. alcohol, confected pineapple chunk/syrup, pear drop, light intensity, med.(-) finish. This is 18m old fino sherry that's been sweetened with grape must to stop the flor development and then aged for
