Un vermut muy particular. Agradable y diferente. Producido con Palomino de manzanilla. Es un vermut sumamente agradable, intenso y fino. Fresco y con carácter y sumamente especial. Recomiendo en las rocas con una rodaja de naranja

Un punto dulce más que equilibrado por el fondo amargo de un profundo sabor a cacao. Ligero en cuerpo profundo en sensación. Ojo, no maridar con nada dulce.

A stunning vermouth. The palate opens with mouth-coating chocolate and toffee, which fades into a sour, herbal, nutty, quinine tinged echo of the Manzanilla sherry Barbadillo used as the base wine. Astonishingly delicious on its own, with the potential to contribute to some singularly beautiful cocktails.

Molasses, blueberry, shade of oak charcoal and then comes a slight bitterness and touch of astringent than enhances all the flavors you’ve noticed while adding a touch of caramel yumminess. A creamy finish stays on the tongue urging your next sip. Best Spanish Vermut (and they are everywhere -sweeter and more accessible than their more bitter Italian counterparts)I’ve tasted.

An excellent vermouth from Barbadillo bought at the end of a hot august tour of their bodega in Sanlucar and enjoyed at home in the cooler climbs of the Netherlands.

Medium sweet. Medium (-) acidity. Low tannins. ABV 17%. Outstanding quality. Lingering finish of sweetened coffee. Drinks well now. No further aging potential. Enjoy over rocks!

Leave it to Pierre at Ernesto’s, man is very good at his job. This is an incredible vermut that requires no added flourish or garnish to shine. Layers upon layers of flavors from the initial hits of raisin and prune and molasses to the thyme rosemary anise and slightly bitter herbs and finally on to tobacco and leather and light smoky oak

This vermouth is insanely good. So. Good. It’s like a darker, toasted, Sauternes with herbs. Caramel, almond, honey, butter. Very nutty. Amazing on its own (cover your whole palate with this, swish it around its incredible). I also poured one over an orange peel with some Japanese whisky and black walnut bitters, my new favourite cocktail

Hier teilen sich klar die Geschmäcker. Der Vermut ist trocken und mit starken Bitternoten. Eine leichte Süsse kommt erst hinterher. Mir gefällt es ausgesprochen gut.

Peu epais en bouche, une amertume de quinine finement balancée avec son infusion de plantes sur une base de manzanilla (ce point fait sa difference avec les autres vermuths faits avec du blanc). Conseillé par un caviste de santander, degusté et tres tres apprecié. Deja sur la liste de reachat.

This little bearded fellow will have me coming back to rate it again and again when my vermouth journey will grow. Wow for now - all the things i love in oloroso with an ocean wave of quinine and orange peel. Harmonious herbals, mouthfull of coffee and caramel. First red (brown) vermouth that does not ask for orange slice or second ice cube. Dont forget to read how Barbadillo dug out old casks of not so trendy vermouth and worked really hard on their old recipes and came up with this soloist. 10

Dried orange, clove, dried fruits, lots of figs. On the velvety palate dried apricot, roasted almonds, olives. Long finish, wormwood aftertaste. Delicious, well balanced vermouth. Many thanks to @[1|32725055|Tomas] for introducing me to the new world.

Intenso, untuoso. Seco. Dulce/amargo. Peculiar vermut provinente de cubas de manzanilla. Muy bueno.

A different type of vermouth. Quite dry and aromatic. Made from Palomino, it needs only ice and no garnish at all.

Muy interesante este vermut, a partir de manzanilla de Barbadillo. Amargo y con aún la reconocible punción de Sanlúcar. Para disfrutarlo solo o con una rodaja de naranja.

Heavily dark, nutty and caramely. Sage, honey. Thick body with heavily dry, sucking-on-a-tea-leaf tannic finish.

A medium tawny vermouth with quite a bit of molasses and high alcohol. Not too herbaceous on the nose but wood and herbal oak on the palate. Another aroma is similar to a fruit gusher. The herbal blend on this one has quite a bit of wormwood and star anise! Has some raisin too, likely macerated in sherry Enjoyable

A Barbadillo vermouth, dark amber, full of aromas of wormwood, elderberry, rosemary, honey, propolis. Full-bodied, unctuous, with acidity faded by the honeyed and slightly bitter sweet taste, with dried fruits, figs and raisins on the palate.

Tasted this wine 4 times before packing up notes:) Unortodox & very tasty one. In the winery they say: don't ask us why the winemaker named it this way several decades ago... Nobody knows. Manzanilla sherry based receipe is patented & protected. Towny color at abv.17% Intense N: dried citrus peel, dried apricot, tones of herbals. P: sour, sweet, bitter & salty - all 4 in one. Almost a liqueur. Strong herbal taste at first with some molasses in the back. Lots of caramel if it’s not too cold, toffee, and something coffee-like. Leaves marzipan and nuts on the palate, even if you didn’t feel them at first. Drink slowly.

A vermouth rosso with good aroma.

Vermut rojo muy añejo, intenso y fuerte, con notas de naranja amarga, ajenjo y romero. De bodegas Barbadolli, desde 1943. Con mucho carácter. Presomina los tostados, naranja tostada y café tostado tambien. Larga duración en boca, mucho tiempo después aún se esta salivando, y recordando ese amargor y carácter tostado y de madera juntos. Sus 17° tambien ayudan a esa potencia, que le da ese caracter fuerte. RCP algo excesiva, con sus casi 20€. Buen vermut para los que son mas exquisitos con estos v

Excelente vermut procedente de vinos aromatizados envejecidos en las botas de Barbadillo durante más de 40 años, con una base de manzanilla. Color caoba con ribete ámbar. Nariz compleja de intensidad alta con aromas iniciales de crianza biológica propios de la manzanilla, junto con notas tostadas, toffee, caramelo quemado, nueces y fondo de especias dulces. En boca es muy intenso, licoroso, graso, con notas balsámicas, mentoladas, vegetales, especiadas, con una sensación dulce que acaba tornándo

Sabor especial. Sabes esa sensación cuando una cosa no te gusta nada de primeras y a medida que lo vas probando no puedes parar? ….Ataman es como el “tomaco” de los simpson! Dulce al principio y amargo al final, combinación perfecta para seguir bebiendo vermut sin empalagar. Mis dieces !!

Riquísimo

Au nez, orange, cannelle, caramel. En bouche, orange amer, parfum de Coca-Cola, super équilibre sucre / amer / acidité. Un peu moins complexe que celui de Partida Creus mais très bon vermut!

Es un buen vermouth. Pero hay que tener en cuenta que la botella solo es de 0.5 lt. Demasiado caro para una botella de ese tamaño. Francamente hay muchos vermuts igual de buenos o mejores a un precio más razonable que este. Mala RCP, no volveré a comprarlo.

Dry and bitter vermouth. Absinthe, anise, camomile and oak flavours with much less sugars than what's usual in vermouth. I had tried vermouth made with sweet wine, but never with manzanilla. I personally liked it but I can imagine this won't be everyone's cup of tea

Rather too herbal and bitter for my usual palate, but very well made and pairing with my zakouskis. Me happy.

3.5 Potente y amargo, merece la pena probarlo aunque no repetiré. Sin duda es un vermouth singular.
