Low tanin, smooth, full bodied reds

Incredible expression of Riesling from the Niagara Region. Stone and tropical fruits on the palate balanced by mouth watering acidity. Very perfumed on the nose, great for a warm summer day. Lovely winery as well!!

Way to go Hinterbrook Estate Winery in making a fabulous wine out of a terrible vintage! We’ve had very few good 2013s so this was a pleasant surprise. A deep crimson red in the glass with a meek dark berry nose. The flavour profile is quite complex with blackberry, black currant, plum and cassis enhanced with vanilla, stewed tomatoes and sweet tobacco notes. A touch of a velvety texture like a merlot. There is also a hint of green on the edges. Super QPR. We may have to pick a few more
