Syrah # 1 Very sophisticated and aristocratic nose.... I guessed mid 90's...Bu! Dark Red flowers, smoke, pepper, spices and a magnificent fresh backbone. The tannins are now fully smoothed but the minerality is vibrant. Does not sound at all as a 32y old wine. Just amazing.... This was apparently a very good vintage. Rebuy: I wish

This smells incredible!! Parma ham, redcurrant and spice. Black cherry and bramble leaf. Red currant, cherry and anise on palate. BUY AND DRINK NOW!!

Plum and blueberry on the nose. Blueberry, vanilla, and pepper on the palette. Violet aftertaste. Well balanced. Even better the second day.

Ruby color with earthy halo. Ripe jam, animal and earthy at nose. Low tannicity and low acidity in a perfect and smooth balance. Wonderful.

Very nice stuff, silky, deep, ripe and silky chewy fruits

Elegant and smooth. Ready to drink with some air. Fine fruits and long after taste. Not to heavy food, we had roasted chicken - turned out very well!

Medium red blue clear color. Aroma of cured mest, violets, smokey, licorice and blackberries. Flavor of black currants, cherries, blueberries. Medium acidity. Good longlived aftertaste.

STEP2_14 かねてより試してみたかったコートロティ(っ ॑꒳ ॑c) エルミタージュに比べると女性的と言われる、ブルゴーニュ寄りのニュアンス。 ややくぐもった濃い色調のルビーレッド、粘性は中程度。 アタックは穏やか、果実味に寄り添ったエレガントな酸味が果実味を適正にコントロール、渋みが控えめなのがブルゴーニュとの違いかな（？） 余韻はほどほどながらをスムースな印象。 同じ作り手のコートロティ、エルミタージュ、コルナスの飲み比べ、1番好きです←

Again this wine proves why Côte-Rôtie is considered the best wine of the Rhone area. Violet, plum, red fruit and some pepper. Lovely wine.

Drank over 3 hours and it evolved nicely. First lots of fruit, notably wild strawberry and blueberry, followed by herbs, ham, and oak. In a great spot now.

Excellent Côte-Rotie with a mix of grapes from Côte Brune and Blonde. Herbaceous with a hint of anise, fennel and licorice, as well as bay leaf, dark fruit and chalk.

Ripe blackberry and cassis, interwoven with delicate floral touches of violet and peony, accented by black pepper, graphite, leather and a faint smoky minerality (FC). On the palate, silky tannins frame a core of dark fruit. The finish is long and poised, with a lingering spice.

Aromas and flavors of black plum, violet, olive, chocolate, blackberries, tobacco and a touch of minerals. Smooth and elegant, we paired this with veal medallions.

Old wine Saturday. Cornas is a favorite and this one was pretty good, a bit reduced with not much acidity or tannins but opens up and shows it self well after 40 years in the bottle.

Truly pleasant, white pepper, smoke and dark fruit on the nose. Well balanced, good acidity, brambles, tobacco, some leather and nice toasted oak.

エネさんのAOC違いです。シラー100% 生産年も一緒。コートロティは、急勾配で全て手作業。頭が下がります。天然洞窟熟成。 中程度のガーネット。エッジがピンクで少しの熟成のニュアンス。アルコールは高め。 香りのボリュームは高め。青系果実、カシス、黒すぐり、ジャミーな印象。鞣し革、マッシュルーム、醤油、スパイス、土、血(鉄)、葉。ヴェジタルな香りもあります。複雑な香りです。 アタックはパワフル。果実は熟度の高さを感じ、なめらかな酸があり、タンニンはmid+、アルコールから来るボリューム感も中、余韻はスパイシーさと樽由来の甘やかさがあります。 合わせるなら、牛ステーキ、ジビエ。

Beautiful black fruit dominated Cote Rotie. Black cherries, black berry, black plums. Earthy, leather, vanilla, liquorice. Subtle and nice. In balance, nothing is overpowering the other. Acidic, med+body.

Deep garnet with a perfume of raisins, ripe red fruit, smoke, and leather. Dry on the mouth with medium acidity and grippy tannins. Black fruit core laced with earthy notes, white pepper, and tobacco. Took a while to express it's full flavours, decanted for about an hour. Medium bodied with a good long finish. Merry Christmas!

Lite mineralig doft. Lite lättare, rundare, mjukare, otroligt elegant och nästan sensuell smak. Lite syrligare eftersmak. Ett mycket gott vin

Excellent. Je le conseille de le passer en carafe ou laisser s’aérer au moins une bonne heure avant dégustation. Nez extra qui nous amène sur la forêt, avec ces notes de chêne et terre, un nez qui nous amène sur le cuir, et ce mélange de tabac frais... En bouche, une explosion de fruits rouge intense bien mûre, presque une confiture de mûre myrtille, avec une pointe de vanille...

Årgång 2017 (ånyo). Rhône åter på tapeten. Ungefär samma smakprofil som tidigare dock möjligen med en lite mer positiv smakupplevelse. Lät vinet luftas aningen längre denna gång vilket tillät smakerna att blomma ut än mer. Lingon, björnbär, chark, lakrits och vanilj. Liknelsen med Barolo bleknar något.

Deep garnet with with a compact cherry rim. Opaque and Clean Potpourri Ripe blackberries violet candy Notes of cedar It’s a rather floral and ripe (yet elegant) bouquet. Some residual sugar Surprisingly smooth tannins for the region and vintage Pleasant acidity Lacks some warmth for a better balance. Medium length

Classic Northern Rhône aroma-flavours of scorched earth, white pepper, licorice, hint of leather. Ripe fruit core with grippy tannins and balanced acidity. Needs some aeration to unfurl its full flavours. Drink now and in next 5-7 years.

Magnificent Cote-Rotie with depth. Well balanced with earthy flavors to contrast the ripe red-black fruits. Tobacco, chocolate. Long finish. A pleasure.

Kunde väga upp undermålig service men var inte särskilt svalkande i 35-gradig Paris-värme. Pepprigt och bärigt men med tyngd.

Fruktigt, mjuka tanniner. Rätt så hög syra. Mycket fruktighet. Bärighet, mörka bär. Blåbär och björnbär. Drack 2018. Låt det ligga några år för att få det lite mjukare och få fram lite mer komplexitet.

Quite bland for such an expensive wine. Blackberries, medium tannins. Wondering if is damaged?

Vid första delen av denna franska flarra var besvikelsen stor. Den var inte alls värd att öppnas på denna nivå. När vi återvände till den, efter att den fått luftning blev den bättre. För dyr och inte min grej alls. Den har en bra doft och en vacker färg. Men smakmässigt för mig åt det syrliga hållet, nästan som det är jäst kvar. Näe. Förstår nog inte grejen.
