Delicious. Not sure what the Magnum was there but the tannin and fruit from soil and delicious blackberry and strawberry warmed as it was decanted. 4.2/5

A: deep ruby, viscous legs and alluring N: Medium(+) eucalyptus, pencil lead, blackberry, plum, some black pepper and a drawn finish of earthy leather P: Full bodied, well integrated tannin structure and balanced acidity to preserve plum ahead of a jammy cassis coming through. Menthol finish surrounded by cigar box and biltong.

香りは、プラム、ブラックベリー、カシス、オーク、皮革、オレンジ、僅かなピーマンと言ったところ。 口に含むと、それらに加えて、土、チョコレート、僅かなりんごと生クリームを感じる。 南アにしては甘く、お上品な感じ☺️

『最適なワイン』という意味が込められて造られたのでしょうか？ バランス良く、香りの立ち上がりも上々な感じでした。 スパイシーな風味もあるボルドーブレンドという売り文句でしたが、そこは違いはあり、南アフリカらしい明るい果実感もあります。 食事と合わせるには良いバランスです。
