Cumple. Es un vino bien estructurado. Intensidad alta, cierta astringencia, pero por este precio yo me lo bebería a diario.

Definitely terrior wine. Not the lighter, more delicate Garnacha you'd expect from Gredos. The body comes from bit of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The coupage of these varieties lends texture, some ripe finely textured tannins, and power. Grapes from the hilly foothills of the mountains near Toledo. However this shows elegance in its own right, it's quite balanced with freshness, intensity of red fruit, plum, violet, hibiscus, bramble, sweet spice. The finish is joy.

Este vino ha maridado perfectamente una pasta a la boloñesa, con sus notas especiadas pero sin agresividad, dejando que la fruta roja y las flores resalten. Muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Medium granaatrood, medium tranen, medium intens aroma. Leuke garnacha-blend die moeilijk te plaatsen is qua aroma's. Veel stuivend rood fruit met framboos in de neus. Daarnaast een zweem van leer, koffie, verse groene kruiden (tijm, bonenkruid), bloemen, mineralen, nog wat extra koffie, drop, ... In de mond bevestigend. Beetje waterige aanzet, maar het gevoelige palet komt mooi open met wat extra warmte. Leuke wijn, die niet steunt op intensiteit maar op finesse.

Buen vino. Redondo con buen paladar..

2017 muy interesante ya pero mejorara con unos años en botella top!

Rigtig fyldig duft af rød frugt og god smag af peber hindbær kirsebær chokolade. God eftersmag

Really smooth and light tannin and good fruit. Area of the wine clearly shows plump fruit. Goes great with seafood and red meat

Medium ruby. Nice nose of crushed cranberries, herbs, crushed stone, earth. Pleasant taste of red fruit, velvety medium fine grained tannins, silky texture.

light oak notes, red fruit, pepper. Strong Sour cherry throughout. Debate between leather and clove finish. We found this delightful, very drying and tannic.

Great value Grenache from Gredos. Deep purple. Medium tannins and acidity. Aromas of blackberry plum pepper leather chocolate tobacco. Very good wine

Nice velvet colour. Nose very oaky, red fruit, plum, tobacco, blueberry strawberry. In mouth leather, oak. Very good balance between fruit and tannins. Long pepper finish.

3.75 And up for QPR. This is a wonderful and easy to drink Garnacha (in fact it also has 30% SY and 5% CS). My first Jiménez-Landi and hopefully, not my last. Juicy and fruit-forward bit with some added complexity. Earthy & dark chocolate oaky flavors. Floral with some licorice, black & red fruit on the back and a minty and peppery finish. Juicy acidity and great tannic structure in a wine that punches above its price range and drinks like juice. Tip: drink cooler than usual and in a big glass.

Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of cassis, cherry, and plum. Plus acid, medium tannins, medium body. Relatively short finish, but otherwise enjoyable. Solid house wine. Blend of Grenache (65%), Syrah (30%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%).

Great Mentrida. Nice and warming without being alcoholic. And lots of potential. (3.8) Warm earthy nose with red berries and a hint of vanilla. Medium acidity, red berry fruit, firm but ripe tanines, warming spiciness, somewhat drying finish with a warm peppery length.

A very good lunchtime wine - light and easy drinking. Delicate summer fruits - cherry, strawberry. Nice acidity and balance. A very good wine for an entry level wine from a fantastic grower in Mentrida. Highly recommend the Sotorrondero wine that is a slight step up.

Garnacha from Central Spain with the little addition of Syrah and CS. Very well made, not too intense, elegant oak, strawberry jam, dark cherry, fig. Minerals and tobacco in the background. Round body with integrated tannins. The finish is not too long.

What a Spanish gem. Man there are some fantastic values from Spain and this is no exception. Beautiful color and an excellent nose of light oak, red fruit and hints of leather with just a dusting of cigar box. Good acidity with somewhat rough tannins. A somewhat underwhelming finish...but other than that a real joy to experience for the price!

Medium to deep ruby color. Medium intensity aromas of earth, Forest floor, black cherry, raspberry, and blackberry, some violet and sweet tobacco. Dry. Medium-full body. Medium tannins. High alcohol (14.5%). Medium-low acidity. Flavors of cherry, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, leather, pepper, and a hint of clove. Overall, a well balanced and delicious red.

I agree with all the comments I’ve read on here. Really well made and lovely wine but it’s really a blend of Grenache and Syrah plus a bit of Cab Sauv Lovely and I could have drunk the whole bottle. Just had last third of the bottle the next day. It’s like a Spanish Rhône blend but more oomph and less sophistication

Vintage 2017: Reminds me of a young Rhône-style wine. Transparant red in color. Fresh, juicy palat with nice hints of black and red forrest fruits and some fine herbs. Fresh but ripe raspberries and blueberries, smooth but envigorating, lively but young

3.8 I really liked this one. Complex and medium body. Very fruity with red berries flavours. Has a nice finish that intrigues for another sip. Here i get strawberry pepper oak and vanilla blueberry and red fruit. Also some herbal notes such thyme. I really recommend this get some friends over and surprise them i recommend

Anniversary dinner wine #5 tasted blind, served with aged duck with Porcini mole negro, shallot and anise jus. This wine is a Garnacha dominant (65%) blend with some Syrah (30%) and CS (5%). The wine is dark and brooding, with a nose of blackberry, plum and leather. Herbal and spicy. High tannins and acidity. Could not figure it out. I was thinking some sort of Languedoc blend, which maybe was not too far out.

Color: deep purple; Nose: semi-intense fruitiness (purple fruits); Taste: slight oakiness, typical Grenache flavors subbued with the Syrah; Finish: soft finish with little lingering on the palate ... Really enjoyed on its own or can be paired with a meal.

Simplicity at its best for this Grenache dominated blend with a touch of Syrah for depth. Young red crianza wine with a whole lot of terroir flavours. Nose of dusty sweet red fruits, violet, vanilla and slight oak. Palate offers savoury woodsy and earthy notes, red fruits are very polished, minerality, medium tannins and acidity. Well defined, balanced, finish is modest with light pepper notes. 4.1

Very fruity on the nose. Very fruit forward. Fresh raspberries and blueberries first followed by a jammy texture. Oak vanilla. Chevy tannins. Medium plus body. Medium finish. Quite powerful despite the body and quite complex.

Very pleased with this red from Castilla y Leon. The G/S/CS blend worked wonderfully with steak frites and bernaise sauce. Nose of vanilla, raspberry, leather and plum. Undertones of pepper, violet, licorice and clove. Nicely rounded, full bodied, dry and with correct acidity.

I got a good recommendation here, thanks! It is surprisingly powerful and high in alcohol - but nevertheless a very nice wine experience. It can take on spicy food and the tannins are a great bite. Chocolate, plum and almost pepper. Long aftertaste.

Red berry fruits and some oaky vanilla flavours on the nose. A really pleasant summery wine, garnet red, medium bodied and rounded tannins. Nice dry finish when the fruity favours appear to evaporate

Had it with breasola, ham, chorizos and cheeses, nice surprise, not so heavy but with tasty tannins, some licorice on the nose. Will pair good also with lamb, veal or poultry.

No se puede pedir más. RCP fantástica. Nariz y boca a fruta negra madura. Persistente y equilibrado.

Good quality with a weight and texture that for some might be disappointing in not having enough 'guts' and depth of concentration. For others it might be called delicate finesse, perhaps. I'm in the first camp and a sub-4 rating reflects that for a bottle labelled by NW as a fine wine. Enjoyable but slightly falling short

Mono cepage Garnacha from central Spain. Of course this has power, and is remarkably balanced too. The alcohol very well integrated, and good juicy impressions and flavors. Good structure and tannins, making it a very good red meat companion. Delicious pairing @ Aan de Poel

No note other than to say I need to taste more Sierra de Gredos. A lot of character and poise from an entry level wine. Chilled the bottle on a warm evening. Surprised to discover 30% Syrah and 5% Cab here. I thought the DOC was Grenache dominant. More discovery needed.

Nice Spanish red with a deep ruby red colour and notes of ripe red fruit, cinnamon, licorice and chocolate in the nose. Full bodied with medium+ acidity and medium tannins. Good balance till the medium finish.

Honestly I didn't smell a lot at my initial swirl and sniff. Some black cherry? In any case it was a very satisfying easy to drink wine. I enjoyed it the first night with a mushroom- wild rice soup and the next night with our regular Sunday pizza. It was delicious with both meals.

2017 vintage needs some air, probably better in 2-3 years. Well structured wine quite light with some pepper, thyme, and red berries. A perfect wine to share with friends around some tapas... 3.6

Oaky, some plum, little acidic at first then peppery.

Sweetish dark berry notes, some spice and oak.

Recommended at a fav restaurant. They served chilled which is not my favorite. But I enjoyed it!

Takes you straight to the outdoors. Full of forest freshness, woodland and herbaceous notes. Wild red fruit aromas and plenty of green pepper. For me the Garnacha dominates, retaining that distinctive “Spanish” quality. Delicious fruit flavours, not acidic as you might expect but could be down to the particular terroir. Medium bodied with a shortish finish. And interesting and enjoyable wine for the price.

Vattningt men ändå kraftig eftersmak. Obalanserat. Rätt mycket kvistar. Kräver mycket luft och mår antagligen bäst av att lagras några år till.

Roble joven, afrutado con acidez de fruta verde. Llano, sencillo y fácil de beber.
