Outstanding fully fruited and nicely balanced Shiraz

It is soft, yummy and easy to drink. Not alcoholic aftertaste at all. However, I would not prefer paying more than £15.

Smooth, dark, purple, long legs, full of flavour. Very nicely balanced Shiraz. Suitable to new wine drinkers as well. I had 2016 vintage in December 2025. You will love it.

Good example of Shiraz. Pronounced nose of black cherry, tobacco. Color is dark, close to purple. Pallet is bold, ripe fruit, medium acidity. High smooth tannin.

Subtle blackcurrant and blackberry nose, very smooth initially, a nice lift and heat on the finish. Smooth pepperness on the finish also. Super long finish. Decant and allow an hour to open up. Just makes the 4 star mark...

Red color with rim variation. Nose: fresh red fruits, cherries, cherry kernel (sâmbure de cireașă), black pepper, anise herbs, nice subtle oak, chocolate. Taste: red berries, spices, pepper (white), oak, medium + acidity, medium tannins, medium + finish. More close to a Syrah from Rhone than to an Australian Shiraz. Fresh, lot of aromas, cellaring for few years it will make it much complex. I like the style of this producer.

Blimey, this is nice. Aromas of vanilla, cherry, red plum, blackcurrant initially with subtle oak, pepper and mint in the background and oddly, creme caramel. It's ripe, rich and indulgent. Flavours of berry compote and dark chocolate. Smooth tannins after a 2ish hour decant So controlled and excellent quality fruit. Paired with a lamb and coconut curry that was unworthy of the wine.

Rich, red fruit flavours with lovely peppery spice, especially on the finish. Slightly subdued nose. Delicious - slight hints of black fruit pastilles and a subtle menthol, eucalyptus taste. Delicious and warming.

2017, drinking well now . Neck poured 1/2 hour. Great with bbq lamb 🐑 🥩. Smooth dark fruits, bramble , black cherries, red currant, light spice and French oak notes . Tannins integrated but still grippy ,high alc, decent length finish . 3.9. Very good

Well made wine, soft and easy drinking if just a but ripe for me. I thought Adelaide Hills may be a bit more restrained but this is still a typical big Aussie shiraz to me.

👃Liquorice, black cherries, blackberries. Also an added bonus of vanilla for the first 30 mins of it opening up 👅 Typical Oz shiraz with big black fruits and that liquorice just hovering in the background. Quite tannic so a pasta bolognese calmed it down a treat!

Tasting at Bird In Hand. Shiraz from the Estate vineyard. Medium ruby coloured with a nose of dark cherries, blackberries and spices. Full bodied with spicy fruit on the palate. Red and black fruit mixing on the palate. Well integrated medium tannins and medium acidity. Medium long finish. An enjoyable drop.

A lovely wine with a balance between fresh, zesty citrus notes and vanilla and butter. Oak underpins it nicely, lovely structure very enjoyable and good value.

An Australian sweet shiraz in medium puple colour. With ripe berries and strong oak note on the noise. With dominant liquorice note on the palate and a hint of berries. Medium bodied, not acidic but strong tannic. Good value shiraz but lack a bit of complexity.
