Never tried oaked zweigelt before, and this one tasted really soft and gentle. +Red and dark berries with wood and hints of chocolate on the nose.

Je blijft smaken ontdekken - koud is goed, kamertemperatuur ook. Vanille, rijpe kers, bosgrond, eik, zachte laurier, enz..

Um ótimo vinho austríaco! Uva Zweigelt. Cruzamento entre Blaufränkisch e St. Laurent. Taninos macios e notas picantes. Fácil de beber. Aromas frutados.

Nice wine, juicy and quite powerful. Lactic and dark cherry impressions. Solid value for money

Purpur bis violett. Nase mit Fenchel, Kümmel und Celeri. Eiche und Waldboden. Im Mund weniger wuchtig mit schwarzer Frucht (Cassis, Brombeere), Leder mit feinsyen Tanninen. Überraschend und sehr gelungen!

Full bodied, good structure

Lunch at Door 73 with grilled sea bass where I've order this a vibrant and fruit-driven Zweigelt with great depth. It opens with juicy black cherries, ripe plums, and a hint of violets, followed by spicy undertones of black pepper and subtle oak. The palate is smooth and fresh, with bright acidity balancing the ripe dark fruit. Fine tannins give structure, leading to a lingering, elegant finish. Very nice!

Very light, dry red wine. Pleasant to drink käkust by itself or maybe to some light dish such as a sallad. Quite surprised actually.

100% Zweigelt, which I’ve loved since I first had it on a trip to Vienna years ago. Smooth and medium-bodied with blackberry, cherry, and a bit of oak coming through. Soft tannins at the end.

I have only good memories about Markovitz wines, they are fine enough too show the best strengths of Austrian grapes. This one have a silky vanilla notes, touches of blackberry, little black currant and a slight hint of melon.

Schmeckt verführerisch nach Kirschen und dunklen Beeren duftend, weich und füllig am Gaumen, mit einem Hauch von Schoko und einem langen Abgang.

Zweigelt at its best - auch nach 8 Jahren. Dörrpflaume, Röstaromen, sehr feine reife Tannine, Tertiäraromen, Zedernholz. Wunderbar lang.

Perfect Zweigelt red wine from Carnuntum in Austria. Elegant and smooth red wine with quite a high acidity combined with an aftertaste of oak. Dark red of color with a high intensity. Quite some tannins. Aromas of black fruit. Flavors of blackberry, black cherry and white pepper.

Stellar price quality ratio. Fruit + complexity and not flabby, the only minus is that it is missing a bit of structure.

The acidity is refreshing but not fully integrated, and the finish fades quicker than expected. While it lacks the finesse of top-tier examples, it remains a decent regional expression for casual enjoyment. Pair with grilled sausage and lentils to complement its earthy, savory tones.

3,5. bis 4 Sterne. 2014 aus der Magnum. Deutlich besser als der 2015er letzte Woche aus der Normalflasche. Runder, frischer, besser. Die Frucht ist nicht so eindeutig. Aber zur Bollo a la Trettl sehr OK.

Solider Wein!

Dunkle Beerenfrucht, Kräuterwürze und Röstaromen, etwas Weichseln und Himbeeren. Saftig, frisch mit feinen Tanninen, gut intergriertes Holz. Ein guter Allrounder!

Rubinrot, dichter Geschmack

Плотный рубиновый цвет. В аромате вишня, дуб, кожа, фиалка, слива. Танин еле заметный, кислотность небольшая, вкус не сильно развивается. Рекомендовать не буду, но в целом ок вино

Solider Wein, Kirsche und Brombeere, relativ üppig, passender Abgang.

Komisch ich rieche und schmecke eher Johannisbeeren? Preis / Leistung passt gerade noch. Bevorzuge nach wie vor Blauen Zweigelt aus der Region Wagram
