Cuvee 1522 from 2005. Philipponnat's Grand Cru from the 'Leon' vineyard in Ay. 65% PN 35% Chardonnay. Rich fruit and brioche on the nose honeysuckle nectar and bergamot. .Great creamy fruit and buttery palate. Great presence. A touch of fragrant herbs. Jasmin . Beautiful, vigorous, generous champagne from a beautiful site. One of my favourite producers.
