父より。 3年ぶりのダックホーン。 深めのガーネット色。 ミントやユーカリ。ブラックベリー、少しカシス。 しっかりした果実味。熟成初期で個人的にはベストなタイミング。程よい甘み、コクもしっかり複雑味も。これはウマウマ。いつまでも飲んでいたい。

縁はしっかりややとろーり 黒ベリーて香りは強い タンニンと苦味、酸味が強い。 存在感がしっかりある。

2017 vintage. Continues to be a great wine. Balanced tannin, acidity, flavor, and length. Oak, cigar, vanilla. Strong dark cherry, and a really nice balance of spice.

Amazing Cab from Napa, Duckhorn is always fantastic. Full notes of chocolate, oak, clove, dark cherry, dark fruit, and blackberry. A bit of vanilla as well. Amazing quality, nice dryness and tannins.

Full bodied wine with a touch of oak, cherry, vanilla, tobacco and leather. Good to enjoy with charcoal grilled A++ grade korean beef. For my taste merlot version is more aromatic wine.

Dark purple colour. Fruit forward with blackberry cherry Plum blueberry. Oak , Bay leaf and minuscule pepper hints and relatively round tannins for a young 2016 vintage.

A very nice Cab. Layers of blackberry,huckleberry and black currants. Firm dusty tannins in that frame the fruit. Juicy, bright and luxurious cassis and dark berry flavors to close it out.

“Napa Cab with depth and a smooth edge.” Oak and dark fruit lead on the nose. The palate is layered—vanilla, chocolate, and rich dark fruit with a nice complexity that keeps it interesting. Polished and balanced without being over the top. Paired surprisingly well with dessert, which made it even more enjoyable. From Duckhorn Vineyards, this is a versatile Cab worth revisiting.

Excellent - One of the top two or three wines I've ever had! Smooth blackberry with spicy cedar and hints of licorice. A bit of vanilla and prune on the nose. Enjoyed it with duck breast for Christmas dinner!

Delicious. Complexity on the nose and palate. Excellent balance without bring too smooth. Perfect expression of the cabernet sauvignon. Just a bit expensive as you can get better for half the price (South African wines).

I typically avoid American wines that you see everywhere as they tend to be overrated and priced. Not so with this brand IMO.

Bold, balanced tannin and acidity makes it smooth . It is a hint of chocolate with fruits and cigars . Very nice but a bit expensive for the quality.

Took a while to open up. Eventually got a nice medium plus body with plus acidity and medium finish. A lot of blackberry, raspberry, and a hint of clove and hint of cassis on the palate.

Another part of my flight through Napa. Interesting tasting CS with plenty of red fruit, dark fruit, cherry, raspberry, leather, smoke, oak, leaf, blackberry, plum, licorice, yeast, prunes. Aftertaste of oak, leather, smoke, with elements of citrus, and unexpectedly i think mango and pineapple. Very bold with comfortable amount of tannins, and yet have the elegance and sophistication.

2022 vintage drank in 2025, New Year’s Eve celebrations. 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, and 1% Cabernet Franc. Decanted 1 hour +. Needs time, it will age nicely. Deep ruby. On the nose, dark fruit. On the palate prominent dark fruit, some spice, cocoa, medium to full-bodied, smooth, balanced and structured, slightly dry with dusty tannins. Long nice finish. Paired with grilled Chateaubriand. Cheers!!

とにかく抜栓後の強い香りがすごい。バニラとオークの絶妙な香り。厚みもほど良く、喉越しも良い。タンニンは強くなく酸味とのバランスもいい。

90pts/4.0stars. 紫寄りだが透明度高いルビーレッド。 Black currant, dried prune, cedar, mint. 果実味豊かで酸はやや控えめ、少し大らかな輪郭だが、幾分タニックさもあって豊満とまでは言わない程度に引き締まっている。果実味に比すると香りはやや大人しめで、華やかさよりは質実さを感じる。 ダックホーンのナパAVAカベルネ、ハーフボトルで。開けたては少しタンニンのざらつきと後味のバラつきがあったが、2日目は上手く統合されてレベルが上がった。すぐ飲むならデキャンタをかけた方がよいのかもしれない。ナパバレーらしい味わいで果実味豊かで凝縮感あり、割と万人受けしそうなスタイル。ただハーフで4.7k、フルボトル8kの価格はQPRだとちょっと微妙。ブランド料込みの印象なので無理に選ぶ必要はなさそう。TWI91

久しぶりにダックホーン。 濃さを感じるダークチェリーレッド。 ブラックベリー、ブラックチェリーにグラファイト、ルバーブなど甘さを感じる植物のニュアンス、リコリス、コーヒー。 アタックは強め。果実の強さがありつつも、意外と甘さはなく、爽やかさを感じさせる酸があります。 タンニンは強めですが、緻密さを感じます。 エレガントさを感じるナパですね。

Aromas of vanilla, oak, and violets. While it lacks flamboyance, it’s packed with berry-like fruit flavors. There’s a slight roughness to the tannins. Overall, a fairly typical Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. バニラ、オーク、スミレの香り。華やかさはないが、ベリー系の果実味は詰まっている。タンニンのざらつきを少し感じるか。 まあ、外しはしないが、汎用なナパのカベルネ・ソーヴィニヨンだな。

ひと口飲んで、苦いなと。 アルコールも強い。 熟成してまろやかさを期待したけど、苦い辛いが支配的。セラー保管だし、スクリューキャップなのであまり劣化する要素はないのだけれど。 色濃く、ただしタンニンはそれほど強くない、コーヒー、カカオ、ウッディ、スモーキー。果実の要素は少ない。 ここまで高評価なのは正直よく分からない。
