Full body, dry. Great wine! I liked both that I tried from this winemaker.

Sour notes at the end, but very enjoyable farmyard notes on nose. Reductive style? Stalky and green - like that.

Fruitig, goed tajine

Smells Earthy and of musty cellar. Reminds me of the scent of my childhood cellar food pantry. A hint of spices almost juniper. Dry, red fruit to the palate. Opens up and lingers after swallowing. Excellent value for money!

Easy drinking, typical pinot, very light, low alcohol, little tannins and little aftertaste, summer wine.

Uten tilbehør- veldig god, lett men sterk lukt! litt mindre dybde og mer taniner enn den forrige (mercurey)

Fino PN alemão. Picancia bem presente, bem gastronômico. Bastante embutido, defumado. Interessantíssimo vinho.

Transparent i fargen. Luktar som den skal, nemlig pinot. red fruit cherry raspberry earthy pepper. Middels fylde. Syrleg. Heilt greie greie.

A fruity and nicely acidic pinot noir, in a tradition of German wine. Nice!

Pale ruby, pink hue. Easy to drink, almost no aftertaste.

Lys rubinrød på farge, transparent. Lukten ligger relativt høyt. Lukter som det skal, digg og det man kan forvente av en pinot noir. Lukter red fruit, cherry, raspberry, strawberry, earthy, black fruit og pepper. Middels fyldig kropp, fyldigere enn forventet. Rød og mørk frukt, med litt krydder. Lang avslutning. Fine avrundete tanniner. Lettdrikkelig alene, går greit til pizza med hvit saus. Gjenkjøp: kanskje.

Очень мягкий пино нуар с ежевичным вкусом. Легкий, танины не чувствуются, цвет не насыщенный красный. Очень достойное вино.

Nice fresh acidity that's not too sharp. Tasted of strawberry and light mushroom. Very nice on its own and paired really well with savoury canapés or cheeses.

The Kloster Eberbach Pinot Noir Edition S is an elegant choice to kick off the Christmas season at the German Gymnasium in London. With aromas of red berries, cherry, and a hint of spice, it delivers a silky palate of bright acidity, fine tannins, and earthy undertones. Its balance and finesse perfectly matched the festive atmosphere, making it the right wine for the right occasion. A refined Pinot Noir that set a warm and celebratory tone for the season.

2018 was right within the drinking window. Good texture and length, light and easy.

Retasting, this is the 2022, similar notes. Transparent ruby red in colour. Mineral nose of raspberry, mushroom, strawberry, cherry, pepper, oak, and vanilla, Dry, light body with high acidity and integrated tannines. Fruity, fresh and smooth with a good balance, short finish. Nice Spätburgunder from Kloster Eberbach in Rheingau.

The acidity took me a bit by surprise. Not bad, but also not a big favourite. sour cherry and red fruit , earthy .

Clear pale ruby. Clean, medium intensity, primary aromas of red cherry, raspberry, cranberry and hint of pepper, secondary hint of toast. Dry, high acidity, medium (-) unripe tannin, medium alcohol, light body, medium intensity, primary flavours of red cherry, raspberry, cranberry and secondary hint of toast. Tasted at Joma in Vienna.

Strawberry oak earthy ash

Decent entry-level by the Rheingau Kloster Everbach. Rich expressive nose with cherry, herbs and earth. On the palate relatively harsh, especially towards the finale which has some bitter elements to it. Decent price-quality ratio.

Strawberry and raspberry on the nose. Ligth, dry, easy going Pinot Noir. A palete of red fruit strawberry, raspberry, white pepper, and minerals. Medium long. Drink without food, nice summer wine!

Translucent, thinly diluted red aspect with pink hues. The aroma is nevertheless vibrantly expressive with notes of red currants, raspberry and rose hip skin, and with a hint of wet wool. Light body Dry and refreshing with focus on crisp red fruit. Agreeable structure with bright, juicy acidity and a delicate chalky tannin crunch. During the hot season, chill to rosé temp and serve as apéritif!

A bit on the sweet side nice to drink easy red wine. Definitely a good choice for a proper wine to just drink without needing to air or any of that. Just open and enjoy a good solid lighter red wine

Checks all the boxes for a good Pinot Noir. Solid but not excellent. Would buy again.

Too sweet

Started off quite dry and acidic without too many flavour notes to provide a good balance, but opened up after a bit of time.

Rubinrote Spärburgunderfarbe. In de Nase zurückhaltende Frucht-Rauch-Aromen. Auf dem Gaumen einfache Struktur von Kirsche u Johannisbeere mit Holznoten und dezent Vanille. Dem Genuss steht m. E. noch eine überbetonte Fruchtsäure sehr entgegen. Das muss sich noch über die Jahre abbauen, sonst aber ein guter Basiswein mit gutem PLV. Die EDITION-S ist ein Rein-Lagen-Wein vom oberen Teil des Rüdesheimer Schloßberg, einfach vindiziert und somit das preisgünstige Gegenstück vom VDP.GG!
