Eine rote Wucht vom Kaiserstuhl ! Dunkel rot bis rubinrot im Glas. Tolle fruchtige Aromen in der Nase. Im Geschmack voll und kräftig, rote Früchte, präsente Säure die Spaß bereitet, super Länge. 🍷🍷🍷

Ripe, soft, highly complex, full-bodied Pinot Noir. Beautiful typical red fruit aromas, well developed acidity, integrated tannins. Medium to long finish.

92 Aroma had ripe cherries, oak, smoke, herb garden and currants. Over the palate came cherries, noticeable oak, herbs, smoke and forest floor. Medium acidity, medium tannins and dry. Great balance!

Had a chance to revisit this great wine. Red cherry, pepper. Cool, elegant, complex. Has many years of cellar time ahead, but right now already absolutely delightful.

Delicate nose with aromas of raspberry, cherry, red plum, spices, bitter chocolate and mocha. Very fine minerality coming from vulcanic rock is balanced by subtle acidity and excelent tannins. Impressively long finish. I was lucky to taste the wine in tasting room in Ihringen and instantly bought a couple of bottles for special occasions.

GG from a hot region in Germany, this Pinot is very elegant with high acidity anyway. Dominating dark berries, good balance and structure. Straight example of its kind. Still a baby, even better in some years. A treat with expression and character - already today!

A warm vintage and the superior site of the Winklerberg provide this wine with wonderfully ripe fruit flavors of raspberries, red currants, strawberry compote and red plum. Delicate spiced notes from the oak aging layer through the wine with notes of baking spices, cocoa bean and slight smoke. Very nice concentration on the palate with soft and pleasant tannins and a wonderful finish.

Aging helped this wine quite nicely, bright red color with orange reflexes, extract strains at the rim, subtle notes of violet and red fruits in the nose.On the palate round and harmonic with hints of cinnamon, almost spicy.An excellent red burgundy which compare s well with the much more expenisive French brothers at the same quality....

Jezus man wat is dit goed. Neus volledig Spät. Cigarbox, bosgrond, hout. Rijpe fruittonen, medium zuren die de wijn rechtop houden. Mist wat mij betreft iets gewicht. Eens kijken hoe het evolueert in t glas.

Heerlijke Spätburgunder van Dr. Heger, een van de beste wijnhuizen uit Baden. Deze uit een wel heel bijzondere wijngaard. Mooi helder rood zoals dat hoort bij Pinot Noir. Mooie diepe maar ook frisse smaak. Rood fruit, bessen, bramen, framboos, kers, beetje chocolade, licht kruidig. Erg lekker, maar dat mag ook wel voor die prijs. O ja, een prettige lange afdronk.

What better than two GG Spätburgunder to end three days of Prowein in Germany? And both equally delicious but with their own style. Very smoky, slightly animalic and creamy nose with red & black currant, vanilla, tobacco and licorice followed by a smooth palate with pronounced, beautiful acidity, wonderfully integrated tannins, red & black currant, vanilla, licorice and very long finish.

Blinde proef van @[1|23852174|Bas Spée]. Wat een mooie ontwikkelde wijn, zeker voor zo’n prijs. Super elegant, vol, zacht en toch een mooie spanning door de lichte tannines. Rood fruit, soepel eiken en een vleugje vanille. Dacht zelf aan een klassieke Volnay op leeftijd.

2016er: Dunkles Rubin, Wunderbare , ausgeprägte Pinotnase, prägnante Säure, aber gut eingebunden. Voll und doch filigran, dicht, sehr langer Abgang. So muss Pinot noir sein. Noch jung, lagerfähig.

Pretty delicious!! Pronounced and seductive aroma of black cherry, strawberry, and vanilla. Dry, medium plus acidity, medium body, medium tannin, 13.5% alcohol.

(4,3) Seems very young still, younger than its four years. Cherries, raspberries and roses. Spices. Juicy with vivid acidity and precise, refined tannins.

Mainzer Weinbörse backlog Nose: red fruit: strawberries, raspberry juice, sweet red cherries, smoky notes, cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg, vanilla. Palate: powerful intro, with grip (firm yet ripe tannin and equally pronounced yet ripe acidity). Quite obviously this wine requires some years in the cellar in order to reveal its full potential.

7 years old wine has a great balance between oppulent and aging aramas. Ripe Red cherry, wild strawberry, cinnamon, nutmeg, red currant, perfumy violet, earth, fresh mushroom. Vibrant acidity and silky tannins. Great fruit concentration and lingering finish.

Ethereal, laced with mint, and fresh red fruit in cool mountain air. Energetic, tight, cherries, charred wood.

Verkostungskurznotiz: Rote Beeren, elegant, präsente aber gut eingebundene Säure, seidige Tannine. Macht aktuell schon viel Spaß, bietet aber noch einiges an Potential.

Vor etwas mehr als einem Jahr ein Glas mit Coravin gezapft, jetzt den Rest der Flasche getrunken. Meine damalige Bewertung kann ich bestätigen. Ein schöner Späti.

Wonderful German Pinot Noir with still quite some potential to age (92 P)

In der Nase wunderbar elegant mit transparentem Bouquet, verführerisch und animierend. Reife Waldbeeren, Cassis und eine pikant florale Kopfnote nach Heckenrosen prägen die Frucht. Charmante Finesse schon in der Ansprache. Schwebender Körper mit unaufdringlicher, aber dennoch subtil belebender Frische. Ein ganz feines, seidiges Tanningerüst ist perfekt mit dem transparenten Körper verwoben. Anregendes Finish mit Noten von Roten Johannisbeeren und Süßkirschen sowie ganz dezenter Würze.

If you like a bloody flavors this is it in all the best ways. Good dimensions. Nice finish.

Very distinctive and unique, even for a Spätburgunder from the region. Nose: black cherry, strawberry, cocoa, curry spice, leather, tar, clove, cardamom, and vanilla. Palate: full bodied and quite concentrated. Medium+ tannin and acid.

Pale garnet red. Aromatics of red berries with hints of Mentol. Very dry on the palate with pronounced acidity and equally tannins. Very long. A fantastic PN. Blasses granatrot. Aromatik von roten Beeren mit einem Hauch von Mentol. Sehr trocken am Gaumen mit ausgeprägter Säure und ebensolchen Tanninen. Sehr lang. Ein fantastischer PN.

With a nice Mushroom Risotto from Appie, however way too young yet. Earth tones to match with raspberry and brambles, still high acidity. Leave this for 5 more years and it will ve great!

Very nice pinot noir. Lot of wood in the nose. Too expensive to drink regularly unfortunately.

No formal tasting notes at the end of a great evening with good friends. A great Pinot with subtle aromatics. Need to revisit this one again…

Verkostung grosser deutscher Weine, Herbst 2021, Zürich. Fein würziges Bukett, Rauch, Blutorangen, Zimt. Kirschenfrucht, sehr vollmundig, mit feinem Ranningerüst und einem kraftvollen, langen Finale.
