Deep dark with purple hues in the glass. Nose of forest fruit and cigar box. The taste is complex, but never boring. A mix of darker fruits and floral tones with a nice wrap of minerality and acidity in a very long finish.

Tasting with club Dionysos. Next one is a marvelous Minervois. Captivating nose filled with ripe blueberries, cassis, cherries, and cherry peels, complemented by dried herbs, a hint of dried meat, leather, and baking spices. On the palate, it’s juicy and sappy, with a very elegant style that shifts focus to red fruits, contrasting the blue fruit notes found in the aroma. The finish is medium in length but leaves a marvelous impression. A beautifully balanced wine with depth and sophistication 👌

Dionysos tasting #5: grenache and carignan, Languedoc. A great balance between fruit, acidity and soft but still present tannins.

Excellent. Anne Gros apparently is a top notch wine maker from Burgundy. Maybe here she tries to make something a little different with less strict rules than you might have in Burgundy.

I purchased one dozen of this wine three years ago. Just two bottles left, I tried not to voraciously open them. This 2014 vintage became well mature leaving fine tannin.

100% Carignan, a little bit funky and unpleasant at first. But you can sense the depth of this wine. Sweet spices, licorice, fennel, clove. Leather, tobacco. Licorice candy. Game, gravy. Salty on palate. Really good wine and it takes time.

The first opinion is I don't like it at all. It needs time to open: floral perfume and savory black fruit flavour.

Purple. Very aromatic . Lots of black fruit , cider wood and Asian spices notes. Grainy tannin. Brisk acidity. Long aftertaste.

Not my favourite region, but really nice wine! Deep but transparent red, dark fruit, minerals and a bit earthy notes on palate. 🍷

Unusual nose. On attack it seems really simple but there’s heaps going on. I’m told that this little plot was sniffed out as Burgundy-like.

3.8. Synthetic cork. Still fairly fruit forward. Compared against the 2013 which had a natural cork and the 2011 won hands down.

Anise liquorish really dark dried fruits on the nose. Rounded taste, long legs. Some acidity in the aftertaste but very mild and reserved on the pallet.

The first nose is an old shoe of my grandpa. After one hour of decanting aroma changed to black fruits, herbs and a little bit spices. I didn't have enough minerality. Drinkable and balanced. Rec.

A step up from Pinot Noir. I must say this surprise me, well balanced, fruit forward with a hint of mineral. But definitely a lot of berries notes. Fuller body. Perfect with meat. One of my favourite from this producer.

91. A blend of 40% Carignan, 40% Syrah and 20% Grenache aged in oak. Medium ruby color. Aromatic nose of dark cherries, blackberries, vanilla, smoke, sweet spices. Dry, medium body, medium acidity. Tanins are velvety and not pronounced. Fruity with some minerality. Long.

Spice and minerals on the nose. Cooked cherries on the palate. I drank this wine over three days. The first day it was too oaky for me, but by days two and three the oak had just about disappeared. Perhaps a bit too much fruit relative to the tannins and acidity but a very nice wine nonetheless.

1st day: 4,3 Wild strawberry (poziomka), red berry. Very fresh, young and vibrant wine. Medium body, medium to high acidity, low tannins, but well balanced overall. 2nd day: 3,9 sweeter, carrot, very juicy.

4.0. Beautiful Carignan from Minervoi. 10 years seems to be just the right age. Fresh aromas of dark cherry, blueberry and raspberry. Black olive, barbecue, minerals and baking spices. Balanced med plus finish. Need to check out more of their wines.

From the slopes of the Massif Central in the Roussillon region, comes Minervois. The Appellation dictates that Mourvèdre & Syrah make 20% of the blend, with Grenache & Lladoner Pelut allowed another 60% Seems Vivino got it wrong as this is tagged as Vin de France. Deep Ruby, with a pronounced developing nose of caramel, blueberry, smoke, toast, tomato, violet, cedar. Dry, with high acid & tannin, high alc, full body, med intensity, med finish. Paired gorgeously with the ribeye (4.2) Good. 3.6🌟

Take a top Burgundy producer to an underrated Southern wine region and you get a stunning result. A firm and crisp red based on perfectly ripe fruit with all the appeal of the South and all the elegance of the North. An exciting Carignan-based red in all respects.

Needs a lot of decanting before opening. It seems that this wine is at it's drinking peak and will come down over the years . Medium bodied grenache blend with complex tannins and earthiness. Definitely a food wine or accompanied with some mild cheese.

Median purple, fresh and young. First open it’s full of cherry, plum. Give it some time to breath, sweet spices like clove, vanilla start to surface. After 2 hours, it developed caramel, coffee notes.

Top Burgundy producers making more affordable and full-bodied food wine down in Minervois? Yes please! Nice savoury, spicy, gamey and funky nose. On the palate it is firm, juicy and crisp. Lots of dark plummy fruit, smoky bacon, garrigue herbs, leather, strong coffee. Good acidity and still firm. 4+

Very well known winemakers in a not so well known region for the N American market. Wonderfully aromatic with mixed dark fruits, earth notes, cedar, and game. Palate is finely structured and balanced between concentrated fruit, fresh acidity, and such fine grain tannin you don’t realize it’s there giving texture until you go looking. This is a great value bottle, that can continue to develop over the next couple years but it’s drinking so well now who wants to wait.

C’est plutôt pas mal, ce vin est plutôt puissant avec des notes de mûres, de garrigue. Il y a une pointe d’acidité qui le rend assez digeste.

Un 2019 aux reflets bien violacés. Nez sauvage et envoûtant de fruits noirs, et de fleurs fraîchement cueillies. C’est mûr et charnu, l’élevage est parfaitement maîtrisé et apporte qq notes chocolatées/torréfié. Rien ne dépasse,d’une grande délicatesse, l’équilibre est juste parfait. Finale puissante et fraîche, tanins racés. Superbe 👍

Definitely fine grain, strong taste, a great mix of Languedoc soil/grapes with Burgundian influences. Somewhere in between a great St. Chinian mixed with a Nuits St. Georges, can definitely recommend ever drinking, especially in this seductive pricerange.

Carignan / Grenache blend form the Languedoc, somehow typical but somewhat different too. Anne Gros is a legendary producer particularly known for her Burgund wines..this one is much more bold and fruity with strong vegetal and herbal notes. Plum and blackberry, a hint of oak and vanilla. A touch of mint, rosemary and licorice on the finish with smooth tannins and warm alcoholic notes.

Nose was difficult to capture with all of The wonderful aromas from Les Amis. A wonderful surprise as the wine opened up into a full bodied, well balanced wine. Finish was spicy but short, savoury and perfect.

Trying the 2016 Les Carrétals along side the same year Les Fontanilles. Les Carrétals is soft but with enough tannin structure to give it more length. Robust pepper spice and autumn fruit. Smooth finish.

A mix of Languedoc-Roussillon and Burgundy style, free ride of famous winemaker fantasy. Quite light one, of course organic and eco friendly. Cassis and blackberry gives juicy feeling but oak and notes of vanilla a touch of nobles

Medium plus body, a bit elegance and feminine one comparing with average languedoc, feel like a burgundy rouge in languedoc! In the price range, I’m more than happy to buy a carton - can be a good and economical one paring for Asian meat dishes.

Interesting, bold, and engaging nose. Mostly black fruits, but truly deep and many-layered. Palate is so satisfying you always want to sip more. A wine that radiates all the attributes of a New World but is unmistakably Old World. Amazing...

I paid 180 DKK for this wine and I am not sure I will do it again as it was not that special but still I feel that it was a terrific wine. I am very happy with it is little brother LA 50/50 which I consider a better glass of wine to the price

Good nose of Tobacco,Blackberry cassis and rosemary. The nose and the Very Black color is not reflect in the taste. Close to full body - very smooth and the taste recall some of the tones from the nose. I am not sure if this give value for money.

Well here’s a fantastic combo of Sothern French heat and a Burgundian cool refinement (Anne Gross). The bouquet appears southern, barnyard, sloe berry and leather, yet refined and easy…the Burgundian way. Lovely wine. Nose was very subtle and I couldn't really figure out. Taste was however pleasantly nice. Smooth and full of berries and cherries. On the beginning it seemed like a light wine. It started to Open and became bold and heavier. Awesome!

Very dark and deep red. When first opened, very fresh, ripe & sweet dark fruits on the nose. As it is allowed to breathe, it mellows down, dark cherry and blackcurrant, forest floor, spices. Medium finish.

Good value for the price, might be biased but is has burgundy-ish class, perhaps even more after some years in bottle. A bit sour when uncorked but turned out better after a couple of days in the fridge. Nice pickup at a clean-up sale.

Medium ruby red colour. In the nose intense aromas of red cherries, pepper, black raspberries, a little bit sweet impression. On the palate good structure, nice acidity and quite long finish.

ロ・デ・ラ・ヴィ 2016年　ドメーヌ アンヌ グロ エ ジャン ポール トロ ミネルヴォワ シラー80%、グルナッシュ20% 色合いは、全体に紫色の映る透明感のあるガーネット。シラー主体としては明るい色調。香りには、還元臭が感じられ、穀物のような香りが特徴的。他に、ブルーベリーやすみれの香りも感じられる。前情報がなかったらシラーとは言い当てられないと思う。味わいは、シラーとは思えないほど、優しい、悪く言うと要素の少ない果実味で、少し酸味が優っている。見てみると樹齢12年のシラーの若木のぶどうのようで、樹勢の強さにエネルギーが取られているよう。よく言えば、名前にあるロー（水）のように綺麗なワイン。逆にこれからの葡萄樹の成長が楽しみ。

Mar 2022. Clear deep ruby to purple. Aromatic straw, hay, red fruit, a little stinky, dried herb, dried floral in nose. Dry medium to medium plus tannin and acidity with dark fruit, red fruit, dark plum, fresh herb, tree bark, and dried spicy in palate. Ok balance medium fruity finish.

まあまあかな、カリニャン　グルナッシュ好きにはお勧め 本家アンヌグロ的な繊細さではなく、ラングドック的な少しアンヌっぽいというか、旦那さんの意見が多く出ている様に思う。もう少しアンヌ的なベリーが強く出たら良いと思う。

深い赤紫色 カシス、プラム、ブラックベリー、プルーン、オレンジ、カカオと少しコーヒーに、ユーカリ、ハーブのすっとする香り。 柑橘系の酸味に、タンニンは細かいがしっかり感じる。
